Continuing Unreal 4 studies.
I’ve said it, I love rocks!!
When everything is a little new to me, I trying study in a easy and
quick tests and rocks are perfect to do it.
I never remember the death of artists, but for some reason
I remembered that on april 94 this crazy guy put a bullet on his head,
so I decided to make my version of Kurt, a quick sketch
and play an easy song, like a tribute.
Recorded only guitars and solo like live.
Hey, I’m an illustrator, and not want to change it,
but I also love technology, when I heard the
the Unreal 4 released I was super excited,
so I decided to try it and face a tutorial.
I could say that just for fun,
but I’m learning a lot with it.
Now it’s time back to the drawing,
the week will be long.
Tutorial here Have fun!!
Hi folks, I’m so proud to share that job.
I did this stuff to the hotsite of Vel’Koz
the new League of Legends champion.
Check the site to see full art with the
creature made by other artist from Riot,
without creature it don’t make sense.
Site Here. Recommend using firefox.
I hope you like it.
As I wrote in the previous post, I will be going to the U.S. on a kind of vacation with my wife and friends, I had plans to take a few prints and deliver some game companies, but my plans went downhill.
It’s time for a plan B!!
I am posting this stuff as WIP and if anyone in NYC read this post and are interested in my work please contact me.
When I return, I think on a plan C
While I worked on the design of this armor, I was thinking of following the Blizzard, Darksiders and Final Fantasy style, I really love it.
I should finish this piece this month, but I’m dealing with a health problem are already two months, this treatment prevents me to continue working, actually fulfill some job duties and was forced to rest, I disregarding medical recommendations to rest and treatment so extended. This is driving me crazy.
I’ll travel to NYC in the next 13th, one more time disregarding medical advice. Actually I already am recovering, this is the last week of treatment …
But be assured, if I die in NYC, I’ll die happy
I used this character as lab, at the beginning I did not know how to work with values.
In the earliest attempts I did not know how to keep the medium shade and make the contrast nicer for me.
But I redid this several times until improve it. Try again and again, as often as necessary.
When I returned from NYC, I’ll finish it, put more details in the leg to be more like the arm.
I need to rest a little more.
UPDATED: Some silhouettes. I did it using the mirror tool in Corel Painter.
I pray every day to the Adobe gods to implement this tool in Photoshop.
Some studies done over Nathan Fowkes’s course.
Made about 30 minutes. I made a gray version, replied and paintover.
